2021 Impact Report
Waterloo Uncovered's recently published Impact Report, which discusses our achievements and successes in the field of veteran care and recovery during 2021, is now available to download and read in full.
This comprehensive report details how we supported Veterans and Serving Military Personnel (VSMP) last year, despite the ongoing restrictions that we faced as a result of pandemic. Although, for the second year running, we were unable to travel to Waterloo for our annual excavation, we were still able to help more VSMP than ever before with our variety of carefully developed programmes, all of which were underpinned by archaeology, education and wellbeing support.
In addition to the delivery of our VSMP Support Programmes, Waterloo Uncovered had a successful year with regards to public engagement, fundraising and events. When restrictions started to ease, we were able to host some exciting ‘in person’ events, the details of which are also outlined in the report.
Support Our Work
We have very exciting plans for 2022, most notably, our return to excavate on the Waterloo Battlefield in July with a new cohort of veterans and serving personnel in addition to our other life changing support programmes. None of these plans would be possible without the generosity of our supporters. If you'd like to make a donation to help fund our vital work, you can do so below.
