Your Support Makes a Difference

Image
Return to Waterloo
Although Waterloo Uncovered has grown to become a multi-faceted, international project, the heart of our operation lies in our summer excavations in Belgium. After three long years away from the trenches, your support will help us get back where we belong in 2022 - on the battlefield of Waterloo.
Image
Veteran Support
We provide life-changing support for veterans and serving personnel through five bespoke programmes and year round wellbeing support. With your support, we can help even more veterans recover from the traumas of war, pursue their passions and transition to civilian life.

Groundbreaking Archaeology
Throughout the years, our excavations have rewritten what we know about the Battle of Waterloo, and uncovered the stories of the brave men who fought there through the objects they left behind. Your support will allow us to make even more incredible discoveries, before the archaeology is lost forever.

The Venue

Return to Waterloo will take place in the beautiful Christ Church, in lively Spitalfields, East London. Christ Church is an architectural masterpiece that has been lovingly restored to enhance architect Nicholas Hawksmoor’s authentic Baroque features, creating a breathtaking venue. With stunning high ceilings and plenty of room, this spacious building is the perfect place to hold our first in-person event since 2019.

“Waterloo Uncovered taught me so much about myself and about what career I wanted. It showed me the way ahead. It showed me a passion I enjoyed and wanted to develop. It inspired me to learn more and to take the next step, it improved my happiness, my ambition, my zest for life – it changed me for the better in so many ways.”
