In April, the Waterloo Uncovered Team attended the first Invictus Games since the pandemic, in the Hague!

Earlier this month, a small group of Waterloo Uncovered veterans, staff and volunteers travelled to the Netherlands to attend the Invictus Games in the Hague. The Games, delayed for two years by the pandemic, has been highly anticipated, but managed to live up to expectations!

Over the week, the Waterloo Uncovered team led by Ben and James have shared our work with visitors and amazing athletes alike, as well as guests such as UK Veterans Minister Leo Docherty MP, Mayor of the Hague Jan van Zanen, senior NATO and Dutch army officers, and many more. We'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who stopped by to see us, and to the Invictus Games for having us!
